The Power of Writing Your Own Affirmations

A journey that requires faith, patience, and a sprinkle of hard-headedness🤣

Here, in this space of shared wisdom and warmth, you'll find constant reminders of your incredible strength, intrinsic value, and the limitless potential that swirls within you.

Today, I want to dive into something that transformed my life in ways I couldn't have imagined: The Power of Writing Your Own Affirmations.

It’s a journey that requires faith, patience, and a sprinkle of being full on hard-headed (you know, stubborn).

Years ago, I found myself participating in a friend’s program, whimsically named “Your Most Profitable 6 Months”.

TBH it was more of a favor than a pursuit of personal growth.

The task? Create a personal affirmation related to career goals and income.

Mine was bold and simple: "I am so grateful that I am consistently earning over $6,000 a month as a young black woman doing what I love."

The catch? Write this affirmation 10 times a day, for six whole months.

At first, the routine felt like a chore.

Halfway through, doubt crept in, whispering, "Why bother?"

My heart wasn't in it, and my belief wavered.

But, driven by a promise to my friend, I persevered.

As days turned to months, something shifted.

My daily mantra began to seep into my subconscious, shaping my actions, molding my decisions.

And then, right on cue at the six-month mark, as woo-woo as it may sound, the universe answered.

My income didn't just meet my affirmation; it embraced it, consistently crossing the $6,000 mark month after month.

This experience taught me the undeniable truth: When you write your own affirmations, you're not just penning words on paper.

You're engraving your aspirations into the fabric of this universe, ready for them to manifest.

Writing your own affirmations is like planting seeds in a garden you can't yet see.

It’s an act of faith, a testament to the power held within your words and within you.

Each affirmation is a conversation with the future, a bridge between now and what’s possible.

So, I urge you, my beautiful community, to grab a pen and start writing.

Craft affirmations that resonate with your soul, that reflect your deepest desires and highest aspirations. Make sure they are realistic and align with what you are currently committed to.

Write them with conviction, with hope, and yes, even with a bit of skepticism.

For it’s in the writing, the repeating, and the believing that magic happens.

Your affirmations are your roadmap to the future you’re destined to meet.

Remember, your words hold power, your dreams are valid, and yes girl, you are capable of manifesting them into your reality.

Keep shining, keep loving, and keep affirming.
